9月26日消息，一直以来 Apple 的 Siri 和 Spotlight 都是使用 Bing 作为网络搜寻的默认搜寻引擎，而 Google 的搜寻引擎虽有在 iOS 上出现但未属全面化。而今天 Apple 终于连 Siri 和 Spotlight 也变更为 Google 的搜寻引擎。Apple 在一份声明上提及到：
Switching to Google as the web search provider for Siri, Search within iOS, and Spotlight on Mac will allow these services to have a consistent web search experience with the default in Safari.
这次 Apple 切换 Google 作为 Siri 的网络搜寻引擎，iOS 及 Mac 的 Spotlight 搜寻将允许 Google 作为默认搜寻，不过 Bing 依然为 Apple 所用作为图像搜寻，YouTube 作为处理视频搜寻。而搜寻和结果都是经过加密和匿名的，不会因于任何个人用户习惯去改变。
